Mission

Christian missions is following Christ’s call: sharing the Gospel with the lost world through God’s wisdom and strength. A classic definition for Christian Missions is proclaiming the Gospel message outside of your culture, as in “going to serve at a great distance“. It is taking the message of Jesus Christ where He has not been found or has not been preached before, as in unreached peoples groups. After Christ’s death and resurrection, the Lord commanded the disciples to share the Gospel, the message of His redemption

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20

This Great Commission applies to Christians today. Rather than weighing us down with a burden, obeying God’s call brings joy and reward in heaven. We should fulfill our mission not out of duty but love. God could convert everyone using a blinding light and the voice of Christ as He did with the Apostle Paul. The Christian mission of sharing Christ does not end with a sinner’s salvation. The commission was to make disciples—not immature believers. Thus, Christian missions involves not only evangelism but also discipleship and fellowship.

Koinonia is a transliterated form of the Greek word, κοινωνία. The essential meaning of the koinonia embraces concepts conveyed in the English terms community, communion, joint participation, sharing and intimacy. It could therefore refer in some contexts to a jointly contributed gift. The word appears 19 times in most editions of the Greek New Testament. It identifies the idealised state of fellowship and unity that should exist within the Christian church, the Body of Christ.

Our vision is to create a mission which helps in creating an interactive relationship between God and believers who are sharing new life through Christ.

Koinonia World Mission (KWM) was conceived by Moses Ali on 28 March 2019 in Derby, United Kingdom during a prayer session. Our mission aims are as follows:

1. Reaching all nations
2. Sharing good news
3. Showing divine character
4. Building authentic communities

Region One comprises of countries: United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Finland, Czechia, Poland, Romania, Greece and Estonia.
